ecoENERGY initiatives help Canadians use energy more efficiently, boost renewable energy supplies and develop cleaner energy technologies.
The ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes program encourages the existing low-rise housing sector in Canada to become more energy efficient, reduce emissions produced through energy use and contribute to clean air, water and energy and a healthy environment for Canadians.
A Newfoundland ecoENERGY evaluation, performed by Energuy Canada Ltd.'s Newfoundland ecoENERGY Certified Energy Advisors, will provide Newfoundland property owners with the information they need to make good home energy retrofit decisions and will reward energy and water saving measures with Canada and Newfoundland grants.
$100 plus HST Pre-Retrofit Evaluation by Newfoundland ecoENERGY Certified Energy Advisors (additional $200 plus HST is paid by the province)
$50 plus HST Post-Retrofit Evaluation by Newfoundland ecoENERGY Certified Energy Advisor (additional $100 plus HST is paid by the province)
The average Newfoundland ecoENERGY evaluation performed by a Newfoundland ecoENERGY Certified Energy Advisor grant is over $1,125 from the Newfoundland Provincial Government and over $1,125 from the Canadian Federal Government.
